Queenstown and the surrounding areas are some of the most beautiful landscapes in New Zealand. My family and I have settled at Lake Hayes where we have built our studio and gallery in 2009. I have been teaching in New Zealand and Australia for 17 years. This time, I would like to take you out on location instead of painting from photos. Painting from photos limits your imagination. If we paint from nature, the sky is the limit.

During this workshop, I will demonstrate how I work with oil and watercolour, and assist you with your painting (open medium) as well. We will study how to distinguish, simplify and capture the essence of what we see and feel. This workshop will be your step to the next level to improve your art.

Class’s Location(subject to the weather condition):

Day 1 : Class will be the scene out side of my gallery. 9am-4pm

Day 2 : We will paint around Lake Hayes and Arrowtown areas. 9am-5pm

Day 3 : We will take a break in the morning. At 2pm-4pm, I will do a demonstration for a figure

painting  and students van bring some of their work for are critique in my gallery.

Day 4 : Class will be in Glenorchy. 9am-5pm

Day 5 : Class will be on the Crown range. 9am-5pm.

The Cost:

NZ$480.00+15%gst p/person. Accommodation, food and transport are not included, but can be

arranged.
NZ$100.00 deposit required for registration. The balance (full payment) to be paid not later by 5-April-2013. (Deposit of $100.00 will not be refunded if your cancellation is made after 5-April-2013)
